Colour pencils with grey markers on bond paper is very forgiving. Build up the sketch gradually and get the geometry correct before committing to any strong lines since bond brings out strong contrast. Build up the marker tones gradually as well. The best part of bond is that it allows you to easily blend the pencil and marker effortlessly as you go along.
